Easy as 123 – My ABCs of Travel

Got this idea from the Travel blogger Matt Long. :) Petiks ako, kaya naman kahit wala pa sa kalinkingan ng napuntahan niya ang silly adventures ko, try na rin natin. :)

A: Age you went on your first international trip: 25, Kota Kinabalu, Malaysia with girlfriends. :)

B: Best (foreign) beer you’ve had and where: I don't like beer. The most tolerable would be the one I had in Hooters, Atlanta. Nakalimutan ko pangalan. Matamis siya. :)

C: Cuisine (favorite): Filipino! But my next favorites would be Mexican (never been to Mexico) and Korean. :)

D: Destinations, favorite, least favorite and why: Favorite would be, so hard to choose!!! Fine, Kyoto (pwede pahabol ng Hawaii and Seoul?) :) Least, errrm, Malaysia in terms of ganda. Pero masarap food.

E: Event you experienced abroad that made you say “wow”: Again, a looot, parang lahat ng napuntahan may ganung moment. I'm so appreciative of God's creations! :) Pero top of mind would be watching the waves of Oahu! Napadasal ako sa sobrang ganda! :) Not to mention, I broke some rules too. ;p

F: Favorite mode of transportation: Train. Lesser chance na mawala ka.

G: Greatest feeling while traveling: Bumping to Good Samaritans. Seeing friends and relatives I haven't seen for a long time. Seeing the landmarks I just see on TV, books and internet. I call it kilig moment.

H: Hottest place you’ve traveled to: Hawaii. Hotter than Manila, pero hindi humid. Mas tolerable mamasyal under the heat of the sun, pero sobrang bilis makaitim. Sa itim kong 'to, tinablan pa ako. Kita niyo dp ko sa twitter? Kinagabihan yan.

I: Incredible service you’ve experienced and where: Delta lounge in Tokyo.

J: Journey that took the longest: In terms of distance and hassle, Manila to Orlando (Nov. 2010), haaaay lahat na lang ng kamalasan. hahaha.

K: Keepsake from your travels: I'm now sticking to ref magnets with I<3 (insert city here). And my Disneyland castle that I got for FREE!

L: Let-down sight, why and where: Kota Kinabalu beach. Parang Batangas lang. Pero masaya naman with friends. Ito ang totoong, it's the company, not the destination. ;p

M: Moment where you fell in love with travel: Not during the travel. Pag nakakatapos ako ng detailed travel itinerary. It feels like I'm traveling the place thrice: planning, actual travel and looking at pictures. :)

N: Nicest hotel you’ve stayed in: The Palazzo, Las Vegas. Wala, pangmayaman kung pang-mayaman. ;p

O: Obsession—what are you obsessed with taking pictures of while traveling? My feet! hahaha. Or a picture of me while crossing a pedestrian lane which is somebody else' task. :)

P: Passport stamps, how many and from where? Malaysia, Japan, USA (4), Macau, HongKong, Korea. 9! Wow! Hindi rin ako makapaniwala. Never thought! :)

Q: Quirkiest attraction you’ve visited and where: Wala akong maisip, I had to google "Quirky" Choz! hahahaha. Siguro yung Tao sa Vegas, secret kung baket! Basta may masamang espiritu sa lugar na yun. hahaha ;p

R: Recommended sight, event or experience: Grand Canyon and Japan Cherry Blossoms festival! :)

S: Splurge; something you have no problem forking over money for while traveling: Yung sikat na lugar, mga tipong pang 7 wonders of the world. kahit magkano. hehe :)

T: Touristy thing you’ve done: Jump shots, lalo na pag failed. At lalo na pag nakatripod. hahaha

U: Unforgettable travel memory: Soooo hard to choose again... Japan 2011 tsaka Coron. :)

V: Visas, how many and for where? 3 (USA, Japan, Korea)

W: Wine, best glass of wine while traveling and where? Wala akong maalala. hahaha

X: eXcellent view and from where?: Driving along the Oahu coast. :)

Y: Years spent traveling?: Since 2006 pag domestic (6). 2010 pag international (2). :)

Z: Zealous sports fans and where?: Next question. Ay last na pala. ;p
